C&S Healthcare Solutions

Making healthcare training for education and community settings safe, simple, and effective.

Designed with first-hand experience

C&S Healthcare Solutions was founded by two experienced paediatric nurses, bringing together extensive backgrounds in acute and community healthcare settings. Backed by experience in Health Visiting, SEND, and special school nursing, our founders have worked across a wide range of environments.

Bridging the gap

Through years of frontline practice, it became clear that there was a significant gap: healthcare training and competency sign-off processes were often time-consuming, inconsistent, too medicalised, and placed heavy demands on already stretched nursing teams. Robust, professional-standard training is crucial to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people with health needs.

Empowering mutual competency

We offer expertly developed, evidence-based training packages that allow registered healthcare professionals to efficiently train and assess non-clinical staff working in education and community settings. Our packages are designed to meet professional registration requirements, saving NHS Trusts and service providers valuable time, money, and resources.

We believe children and young people with health needs deserve safe, supportive environments

By empowering non-clinical staff with the right training, we help ensure that no child is excluded from education, activities, or care due to their medical needs.

All of our training materials are aligned with current local and national guidance, including NICE and RCN standards. Our approach supports mutual competency sign-off — ensuring that both the healthcare professional and the staff members they’re training feel confident in the skills taught. We’re committed to making healthcare training simple, accessible, and appropriate for non-medical staff, avoiding unnecessary medicalisation while still delivering essential, high-quality knowledge.
